At a young age and no stranger to hard work, Mario grew up working on a cattle ranch on what use to be the 1,000+ acre Stanley Ranch on the banks of the Napa river. In his early teen years he was on job sites building custom homes and wineries up until going into the Navy following early graduation. After leaving the Navy, Mario followed family to the Lake Oroville area and went into real estate with a major franchise. From day one Mario made a noticeable impression, becoming their Top Producer for nearly a decade, continually ranking in the top percentile for closed transactions Nationwide and still maintains status as a well known area top producer today! Mass marketing, investing into advertising, taking chances and doing things differently has greatly assisted in selling clients listed properties contributing to continued success for his clients from year to year.
Mario Joined United Country in 2016 after heavily researching National Real Estate companies who offer more than just a name. Being with a major franchise and witnessing first hand the lack of support for their agents success along with struggling technologies with most companies looked into, Mario recognized United Country as the only franchise that could genuinely service the North States unique property market of mostly rural communities. The North State consists of country and lifestyle properties. United Country was in Mario's opinion the best company positioned to support in better positioning and generate huge success for his clients.
Mario specializes in country estates, leisure, land, investment and lifestyle properties throughout the north state. From farm land in the Sacramento Valley, country homes on the outskirts of town, apartment complexes in the cities within, to recreational properties in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Serving Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Plumas, Tehama, Yuba and surrounding Counties.
When away from making things happen for his clients, Mario loves spending the majority of his spare time with his 3 young boys and wife Kimberly (a business partner as well), exploring new places and enjoying the beautiful Northern California area. From water sports on Lake Oroville, Fly Fishing the Highway 70 Scenic Canyon, River Monster fishing in the Sacramento River, Camping the beautiful California coastlines and exploring new places. Most important, Mario insists on instilling a strong work ethic within his own children as he experienced as a child.
Kimberly Gattavara is a Paradise, Ca native. Kimberly was raised by a family with strong morals and spiritual values. Immediately after high school Kimberly went to Butte College for a couple years while in the medical field at Feather River Hospital in Paradise. She worked alongside both her parents who are Physical Therapists. After a decade with Feather River Hospital and 3 boys in private school, her current career choice left little time or flexibility to volunteer and be involved. With the overwhelming demand for Mario's services by the general public, Kimberly decided to pursue her real estate license and work alongside her husband to assist in the important tasks involved to help in the success of the family business. She has since been involved with a great deal of transactions, coordinating marketing, keeping the office together and spending more time with her family.
